EuroPeers

The European youth exchange experience-sharing network helps to find mentors and training opportunities.

EuroPeers International is a network that encourages young people who have experienced – or are interested in – EU youth programmes (such as Erasmus+ and others) to share their experiences with their peers. The website serves as a platform that connects those who have studied, worked, or interned abroad with those who are planning to go. Its main purpose is to bring people together, facilitate the exchange of experiences, and spread information about training opportunities.

Our task was to improve the website’s user experience. The previous version of the site dated back nearly twenty years and lacked a modern, youth-friendly appearance. In addition, accessing and adding information needed to be made as simple as possible for users.

Visually, the new website features vibrant colours and a cheerful overall design. The homepage highlights new events (such as trainings, meetups, and experience-sharing gatherings) and news from the network. A map displays members of the network across Europe.

A central feature of the site is the ability to find and contact members. For this, a search tool with advanced filtering options is available.

Under their user accounts, members can create detailed profiles so that those seeking advice can find experience-sharers who match their needs. Users can also add new stories and promote events.

All of this has been implemented using WordPress as the content management system.
