Teacher’s profession information website

At the request of the Estonian Education and Youth Board, we redesigned and developed a website introducing the teaching profession.

It is true that there is a severe shortage of teachers in Estonia. That’s why a website introducing the teaching profession has been created, encouraging people to become teachers.

The website explains why someone should consider becoming a teacher, what modern teaching work entails, and how to become a teacher. Users can take a quick test to assess how well they suit the profession. The site also provides research and guidelines in the field.

Esileht

The website is designed for anyone interested in education work, but one of the main target groups is people planning a career change. This includes individuals who are specialists in another field but are now seeking new challenges elsewhere. It turns out that almost anyone can find their place in education—if they’re willing to try! Upon arriving at the website, visitors can immediately explore stories of people currently working as teachers. The blog features even more personal experience stories.

Visually, the website adopted the visual identity used in print materials and promotional items. The vibrant color palette and dynamic overall impression reflect the bold and adventurous journey of becoming a teacher. Black-and-white images of teachers are used in accordance with the CVI (Corporate Visual Identity).

During the analysis phase, we helped the client refine the menu structure for better clarity and, in some cases, reorganized article content to make it more readable.

The website operates on the WordPress content management system. Custom solutions included integrating and adapting a test-taking feature.
